| A reminder of an amazing night of celebration and also the heart-warming writer behind so much of it.Watched the celebration going gosh! and wow! and ah! (or similar expressions) so I am looking forward (like Tam) to seeing the recording. This time I'll let myself be quiet enough to think and watch. | Re: 26I think the mistake was to treat sick days like vacation days, which then allows one to abuse them like this. My company won’t even allow us to carry over vacation days into the next year anymore (use them or lose them).I think if state employees want to save their sick days until retirement, then they should be required to follow the rules for disability. If they take more than “x” consecutive sick days, then I would expect disability to kick in, which usually pays at a lower rate. |

| If you’ve ever seen the movie Equilibrium, then you’ll know what I’m talking about. Some movie that takes place in the future about ultimate control over a society by a government/company/etc. If you’ve seen the movie V for Vendetta then that movie is also a good example. I’ve also read a book called “The Giver” and seen all the Matrix movies. The movie should also be available on Netflix. Any other suggestions? |

| We are witnessing the collapse of major systems at all levels. Do any of us know how to stand on our own two feet in an earthquake? I think it’s too early for even the most quick and nimble to figure out where to stand. Those who manage to survive with some resources will be the ones with the power to do something. | Roloffs “marketing plan” is no different than college tour groups going church to church to promote their school. The YRR guys are inconsistent with their theology and practice…MacArthur pointed that out in the videos you posted on your blog. CNN and the liberal media definitely do have an agenda to make corporal discipline illegal. But none of that takes away from the fact that in IFBdom, there is a clear consistent pattern of abuse whether it be physical, emotional, power mongering, etc… |
