| 24 did a great job of showing both sides of politics. We all know that co-creator Joel Surnow is a staunch conservative but other writers and much of the cast leaned to the left, while others to the right. So there are moments when both sides of politics have slipped in to the story. I do find it funny though that the show’s best president, David Palmer, was a Democrat while the show’s worst, Charles Logan, was a Republican. And the other two Republican presidents, John Keeler and Alison Taylor, well we end up not liking them either. |

| What's funny is that Confucius is considered to be the father of conservatism by many historians - the conservative political philosophy can be traced back to the translations of Confucius into western languages. If the wackjobs are so bothered about Confucius I'd hate to think what they'd think about Lao Tzu or the Zen thinkers. |

| It sure was more valuable for me – always. Microsoft, Dell, HP, Samsung, etc. have the same practices than Apple -cheap labor, tax evasion-, but they lack the target on the horizon (Job’s job, not Apple’s) and a decent business model (they tend to adapt to existing markets unless they are forced to do something else, like innovating). Things have already changed, though, and will do so much more. |

| How in the hell can Ed Martin talk about supplying the United States with energy when the current market rate is 2.8 cents per KW. There has been a huge shakeup in the US energy market with the availability of new natural gas supplies via fracking technology. So far, they have proven a 100 year supply. They will never need our hydro power. Surely the so-called experts at Nalcor and MHI cannot believe that making power at Muskrat Falls for north of 30 cents and selling it for less than 3 cents makes good business sense. |
