| These last three books in the Spiderwick Chronicles, Lucinda’s Secret, The Ironwood Tree, and The Wrath of Mulgarath, by Holly Black, aren’t really quite complete books. Although there was an overarching story that was fairly obvious, books 1 and 2 held their own as individual books, containing everything a book needs. Not so with the last three in the series. Each of them has a plot, but the beginning is in book 3, the middle in book 4, and the end in book 5. As such, I’m reviewing them all together. (Reviews of books 1 and 2 are found here and here. |

| I have always been surprised at people reading so many feeds. 1300 posts a day at even 5 seconds per post equals 2 hours. But whatever the time spent, if you are going to waste 99% of your time, I don’t think that is really wise.Scoble’s point is that he is performing a service for other people. But you could directly subscribe to many of the interesting blog sites yourself and thus avoid duplication.My feeling is that the service part is incidental – he subscribes to all the posts to ensure he doesn’t miss something even remotely important that is necessary in his work. |

| you’re being too cynical if you believe Samsung/Google postponed the launch because they were afraid of not being able to attract enough attention.there was plenty of coverage at the end of last week, and this was only a day or two after Steve Jobs died. check any of the technology blogs – they all covered the video and image leak of the new Nexus. |

| massimo / idk about the turn asides, other then vala what is it good against? and lets face it turnaside slowes them by a turn maybe if ur lucky, u need a better hate card for vala. and i dont want to squish a good idea but fling seems terible against counter magic or a meta that can just answer it with anouther peice of removial and then u inable them to keep draws with triple hate. |

| If the Direct3D device is not in “cooperative mode” you will not be able to capture anything in fullscreen.For the D3D error, install the DirectX SDK and enable debugging (see links at end of the post on a debug tutorial). This will tell you exactly what it is that is causing the issue (e.g. an unexpected parameter value, or wrong Surface dimensions etc…)Cheers,J |
